It's not your usual Pacific Beach sports bar; with an audio/visual system, cozy dinner booths and a full menu, Moondoggies tries to catch a more "downtown" crowd. Dining booths and seating around the bar make this the place to go to watch your favorite sporting event, but the open design and delicious food make you want to stay for dinner. The menu features American Bar fare including appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pastas and salads. Especially tasty are the "South of the Border" items such as flaming fajitas that are served smoking to your table.
