They also have family friendly activities such as “Family Feud Fun!” and the “Star Trek exhibit,” which allows your family to wander through a far off galaxy. In addition, this year’s Toyota Concert Series will feature big names such as Switchfoot, Train, Colbie Caillat, and Martina McBride. If you’re looking for kid-friendly acts you won’t want to miss Big Time Rush, Victoria Justice, and Bridgit Mendler.
A visit to the San Diego County Fair simply wouldn’t be complete without a mouthful of fried concoctions. This year’s fair boasts impressive new treats such as Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joe burgers and Bacon Beer. Don’t think you can stomach a fried sloppy burger and a greasy drink? Other must eats are fried cookie dough, bacon truffle fries, bacon mac-n-cheese melt, deep fried cereal and a twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly. But traditionalists need not fear, as there will be an array of classic fair favorites such as funnel cakes, 2.5 pound turkey legs, and corn dogs.
